Windsor Castle is located in Windsor, Berkshire, a town less than an hour by car from London using the M4 motorway. Today, the State Apartments house many fine works from the Royal Collection, including paintings by such famous artists as Rembrandt and Rubens. St George’s Chapel, built in the 15th century, uses a design associated with the English Perpendicular Gothic style and is well worth seeing.
Aside from the Castle, Windsor has a number of other sights of interest for visitors.
