Events in London come thick and fast in 2012. Everyone has an eye on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June and the Olympic Games which start in July, but the calendar is packed all year long with no date being more important for London’s Chinese community than Chinese New Year.

Many people want to celebrate with panache and there is no better way to travel in style to events welcoming the arrival of the Year of the Dragon than ordering a chauffeur driven car.

In 2012, the Chinese Lunar New Year festival falls earlier than usual on January 23rd, so now is the time to start making plans for transport arrangements. There are many feasts, festivals and events for Chinese New Year taking place in and around London. Many Chinese restaurants are arranging grand banquets around the 23rd but London’s main events will celebrate the occasion on Sunday 29th January.

There are a host of events planned especially in Chinatown and Shaftesbury Avenue which will include a grand parade, dragon dancers and acrobatic performances. There will of course be a huge array of culinary delights in the many different style of Chinese cooking, as well as music and cultural displays in what is traditionally one of London’s more boisterous annual events.

If you would like to travel in style to any Chinese New Year event, please contact Chauffeur One so we can transport you in the luxury and style of one of our chauffeur driven cars.
